About us
History of the SSP
Our story traces back to 1999, when our founder, Evans Madzivadondo, moved from a small town to the city of Harare, Zimbabwe. Volunteering at church services every Sunday, Evans’ passion for sound began with the simple task of setting up basic audio equipment. Over time, he learned how to power sound systems, manage microphones, and gained invaluable hands-on experience.
In the following three years, Evans’ curiosity and dedication led him to mastering live sound production, learning to use equalizers, faders, and other audio equipment. In 2010, he had the desire to pursue formal education in sound production but faced challenges that delayed this goal. Despite the setbacks, his passion never waned.
Twelve years later, Evan completed his Bachelor in Audio Engineering. His dream of taking sound to a new level is becoming a reality, and that journey is now the foundation of our team’s expertise.
